Being part of Greater London Hornchurch is well served by London buses and also has District Line Underground stations at Hornchurch, Upminster Bridge and Elm Park. What’s more the London Borough of Havering will have no less than 3 Crossrail stations making connectivity to the City, West End and beyond even easier.

Just a few hundred yards from the town centre is Emerson Park Station. Whilst only a branch line, it connects in one stop to main line services at Romford (Liverpool Street) in one direction and Upminster (Fenchurch Street) the other.

Major road networks are also close at hand with the A13 and A127 to the south and north of the town respectively. The latter will lead you to J29 of the M25.

Harrow Lodge Park with its river, two lakes, and acres of greenery is a beautiful spot to enjoy a break from town centre bustle and also Hornchurch Country Park.

There’s an abundance of sporting and leisure facilities including Abbs Cross Leisure Centre and the highly regarded Queens Theatre.
