Spreading the Christmas cheer

By the Beresfords Marketing Team - 15th December 2015

Beresfords network of offices have been busy getting into the festive spirit supporting their local Christmas fayres and community events.\nMaldon's High Street came alive on Thursday 26 November with a special Vintage Christmas Fayre. Beresfords Maldon branch welcomed all those in from the cold with festive refreshments and took part in the best dressed window competition. All items for the window came from Maldon's The Salvation Army.

The Christmas lights were switched on by the Town Mayor of Maldon, there was late night shopping, street market, choir, music and a visit from Father Christmas himself with two of his reindeers.

A festive afternoon of fun, aimed at the local community, was how the organisers of the Shenfield Christmas Fayre on Sunday 29 November promoted the event. To help get local residents into the festive spirit, the team at Beresfords Shenfield made cakes, held a lucky dip, offered refreshments and ran a guess how many sweets in the jar competition amongst other things.

With the whole high street shut off, visitors were able to enjoy a synthetic ice rink, snow globe, petting farm, children's rides, face painting and many market stalls. Crowds flocked to Braintree Town Centre on Sunday 29 November to celebrate the start of the Christmas countdown and to see the festive lights switched on. Christmas markets, music and entertainment made the day memorable for all local residents.

To help support the event, the team at Beresfords Braintree welcomed a face painter into the office who decorated children's faces throughout the day. Of course festive fare was on hand for the adults as they waited.

We've also been busy supporting schools and local charities with sponsorship boards to help spread the festive cheer. These include: Friends of Essex Churches Christmas Fayre, Writtle Christmas Tree Festival, Farleigh Hospice Christmas Fayre, St Joseph's Primary School Christmas Bazaar, Ingrave Johnstone School Christmas Bazaar, Gidea Park Primary School Christmas Bazaar, Barnes Farm School's Winter Bazaar, Roxwell School Christmas Fete and Ducklings Nursery Christmas Fayre to name but a few.
