Places to visit in Essex post-lockdown

When lockdown is over, there'll be many businesses able to reopen who have been out of business for much of the past year. Once the restrictions are eased and we can begin to enjoy socialising, whilst still keeping government guidelines in mind, we're sure you, like us are excited to spend quality time with family and friends. Here are some of our favourite businesses that we can't wait to support!

Le Talbooth - Dedham -
Le Talbooth offers award winning fine dining in a beautiful riverside setting. In the picturesque village of Dedham, Le Talbooth is also available for private dining and event hire.

Tarantino Italian Restaurant - Brentwood -
If you've missed authentic Italian food throughout lockdown then make sure you book a table at Tarantino for when they reopen! With delicious pasta dishes, pizzas, starters, fish and tasty salads it really is a delicious dining experience.

Shish Meze - Emerson Park -
Located in Emerson Park, Hornchurch, Shish Meze offer a fantastic selection of hot and cold meze starters as well as hot coal cooked and marinated meat dishes and kebabs. They also offer fish and other tasty Turkish sides.

Zenxi - Chelmsford -
Zenxi offers fine Chinese and seafood cuisine in the heart of Chelmsford. With a chic setting and a range of set menus, this is one you won't want to miss out on.

The Bakehouse -
Enjoy a tasty brunch or afternoon tea at The Bakehouse Chelmsford. Not to mention the fabulous cakes and roast dinners on offer! The Bakehouse have also had live music and outdoor events previously which are excellently executed!

Abigail's is located in Ingatestone and offers a delicious range of breakfast options, cream cakes, plus gifts and accessories making it your perfect weekend pit stop!

Colchester Zoo -
Lockdown hasn't been easy for anyone, but with no guests, Colchester Zoo and other animal sanctuaries have struggled to find the funds to feed the animals.
