Brewing up community spirit: Helping our ‘CommuniTEA’ one clean-up at a time

At Beresfords, we’ve always believed that our role in the community should go beyond property. Yes, we help people find their next home, but we also want to help make those communities even better places to live. That’s why we're so proud our brand-new initiative CommuniTEA, is now in full swing.

Last week, we kicked things off in Brentwood with our very first clean-up event and it was fantastic. A group of us from across the Beresfords team (along with some amazing local partners, clients, and businesses) rolled up our sleeves and got stuck in.

With help from Brentwood Borough Council and the Brentwood BID, we managed to collect 12 bags of rubbish from the town centre. Not only did it make a visible difference, but the atmosphere was so positive. Everyone got involved and wanted to do their bit, and that’s exactly what this campaign is about.

After we finishing our litter-picking morning, we all sat down for a well-earned cuppa and biscuits (because no clean-up is complete without tea, right?). It gave us time to chat, connect and reflect on how a small effort can have such a big impact. These moments are what CommuniTEA is really about; not just tidying streets, but bringing people together.

CommuniTEA is part of our wider Propertea campaign – which aims to ensure people’s property needs are always met and our clients needs are understood and listened to. It’s about listening, understanding, and being present in the places we work. Helping keep our towns clean and connected is just one of the ways we can give back.
