This residential area is superb in terms of the range of property types, proximity to green spaces and transport links. Haynes Park is right on your doorstep with sports facilities and the chance to enjoy time in the outdoors, while the high street provides all the shops, restaurants and cafes you could need. Emerson Park Station and Gidea Park Station are both in easy reach, each just a short 5-minute drive from Ardleigh Green. This area also benefits from frequent bus routes, providing convenient travel links to Romford, Hornchurch and surrounding areas.
Next on our list is The Drive: a quiet, residential road close to Harold Wood train station, with green fields, parks and woodland to the east. There’s a good selection of buildings here, including bungalows, detached family homes, semi-detached and terraced properties, so something for every taste and requirement.
A couple of miles south of The Drive, this road is one of the top places to live in Harold Wood partly thanks to its proximity to the same green fields, parks and woodland area mentioned above. It’s also got fantastic road links with easy access to the A127, and M25 to the east. This area is popular with families, with plenty of family homes and schools nearby.
One road north of The Drive, The Ridgeway is one of the most sought-after areas to consider when house hunting in Harold Wood. Set in a quiet and residential area mostly made up of semi-detached properties, this location is a must-see with viewings highly recommended.
