There are lots of great places to buy property in and around Brentwood. We’ve highlighted a few of our favourites and the reasons why they’ve made the list.
The big, beautiful homes on Cornsland private road are highly desirable. This quiet, residential road is lined on one side with properties boasting south-facing gardens while the homes on the opposite side back onto the high school’s sports field. If you’re looking for a large family home, be sure to view any available on this road.
Outside the town centre, Hartswood is popular with families and has a lovely community feel. There is a great selection of property here, including detached and semi-detached homes. If you’re a golf fan, you’ll be sure to make use of the course here, but everyone will enjoy the local woodlands, nature trails and country park on your doorstep.
Herongate is a charming little village outside Brentwood that offers a great community with the benefit of being within commuter-distance of London. There are a couple of pubs, some small shops, sports clubs and a primary school, with other amenities in easy reach. Surrounded by green space, the village is bordered by fields, golf courses and a country park.
Homesteads private estate is highly sought-after due to its location and good-sized properties. Close enough to the town-centre, train station and commuter roads, while within easy reach of South Weald Country Park and a choice of good schools, it’s no wonder this is a popular place for property-hunters.
Seven Arches Road passes through beautiful, leafy woodland, Shenfield Common and Brentwood County High School. It’s a lovely area in which to live and it’s worth looking at properties on this road and the small roads leading off it.
Last but not least, the area around Brentwood Rail Station is great for commuters who like to be at the heart of the action. Surrounded by all the amenities of Brentwood town centre and only a 40 minute train journey to London Liverpool Street, this is a great choice for those who work in London but don’t want to live there. The added bonus is that nowhere in Brentwood is far from the countryside, so you have the best of both worlds when you buy here.
There’s a lot to love about living in Brentwood, from its amenities and commuter links to its green spaces and surrounding villages.
