Being first time buyers we was not always sure where to turn or what comes next, however Bailee communicated clearly and explained the next steps throughout. The sale of my house in Billericay, completed last week (w/c 15 March '21) Beresfords were not the cheapest option to sell my house, especially when you consider the likes of PurpleBricks, but I can safely say Beresfords were the best option. They found a qualified buyer that would be able to complete, not just make an offer, especially within the tight timescales of the stamp duty holiday. Their knowledge, ownership and communication of the progress to my sale was superb, as is there their expertise in sales progression generally. I can highly recommend the team at Beresfords for the selling of your house. I strongly believe I still wouldn't have sold my house without them if I had opted for a cheaper and less committed agent, particularly those that require a fee before even securing an offer or that don't have such a strong commitment to sale progression.

I have been pleased with the service that Beresfords in Chelmsford provided in selling my house; I found James Westbrook (Branch Manager) to be efficient and professional from the outset when the valuation was done then photos taken. This high level of service continued throughout .... during what we all know is a very stressful experience, for clients and estate agents alike, made worse by the pandemic and then stamp duty holiday announcement. On the one occasion that I felt the service had dipped a little due to overwhelming volumes the matter was resolved quickly and turned around very efficiently which was really pleasing. The difference between a "good" four star rating and "excellent" five star rating though has to be credited to Helene Dendy, without whom I could not have coped for what must be nearly four months now. Helene progressed our sale through successfully to the position we are currently in; contracts exchanged and completion date agreed. She did so by building a really strong relationship with our buyer and us and communicated with us regularly by email and, more unusually nowadays, by phone which ensured no issue was ever lost in translation. Helene was tenacious in her dealings with all in the chain, including the solicitors, and even when she was no doubt furiously paddling away below the surface coping with the volumes she has her calm "swan" like nature was reassuring and inspired confidence that our house buying chapter would have a happy ending.
