Thorley Wash Cottage is situated on the southern outskirts of the market town of Bishop’s Stortford and is a Listed building possibly dating to the late 17th/early 18th century and traditionally constructed timber framed with rendered elevations but with later extensions. Thorley Wash Cottage comprises a number of characterful rooms with exposed timbers which includes a sitting room which is divided by a wooden staircase - there is some open studwork.
