Events 30th November – 14th December  

 

  • Ingatestone Victorian Evening 10th Anniversary, 4th December

The Victorian Evening Committee in association with Beresfords have worked hard to bring this event to life. The theme of the evening will focus on the joys of Victorian England at Christmas time. The High Street will be filled will stalls, a horse and carriage and so much more to see! Be sure to drop by the Beresfords branch for wine, nibbles, a free prize draw and children’s lucky dip. From 6pm.

  • The Duckling Nursery Christmas Fayre Writtle, 5th December

Join The Duckling Nursery for a festive Christmas Fayre including Santa’s grotto, tombola, homemade cakes, festive drinks, raffle, craft area, handmade Christmas gifts and lots more! Between 2pm and 4pm.

  • Santa Fun Run at Castle Park Colchester, 6th December

It’s the 6th Annual Fun Run for Colchester’s Hospitals Charity. You can get involved and do either a 3km or 5km run. Suitable for all ages and abilities, run, jog or walk!

  • Christmas Carol Concert at The Old Chapel Upminster, 8th December

The Chamber Choir from Sacred Heart of Mary Girl's School will be preforming at this special Carol Concert for the local community. Festive refreshments will also be served. Between 2pm and 4.30pm.

  • Santa in Love at the Civic Theatre Chelmsford, 11th December

Have you ever wanted to know a secret? A Christmas secret! Maybe you’d like to know where the fairy on top of the Christmas tree comes from, or why you never see a Christmas elf, or what exactly happened to Frosty the Snowman? You’ll never guess, so if you want to find out then join Santa and his friends in this fun filled family musical complete with games, giggles and all your favourite Christmas songs. Santa will be available after the show to meet your little ones and give them a present, so don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the smiles!

  • Father Christmas at Cressing Temple Barns, 12th and 13th December

Guided by a friendly elf alongside other families, you'll have the chance to meet Father Christmas's real live reindeer friend, see the mad scientist elf mix the special potion that makes the reindeer fly, watch the fascinating gift-wrapping machine in action and of course meet Santa and have your photo taken with him in his sleigh.
