  • Country Market at The Duck Pub & Dining, Chelmsford, every Saturday until September from 13th May

If you’re looking for a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon then pop along to The Duck Pub and take a look at the local produce and crafts they have to offer. It also is a benefit that they also serve amazing food!

  • I’m Still Standing – The Elton John Songbook at Mercury Theatre, Colchester, 17th May

The ‘Ultimate Elton’ Paul Bacon, along with The Rocket Band, delivers a truly wonderful celebration of the music of the one and only Elton John – from ballads such as Your Song, Candle in the Wind, Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Sacrifice and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word through to up-tempo dance floor classics such as Crocodile Rock, I’m Still Standing, The Bitch is Back, Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting and many more.

  • Essex Outdoor Cinema presents Bridget Jones' Baby at Promenade Park, Maldon, 19th May

Watch the stars under the stars! Essex Outdoor Cinema brings Bridget Jones' Diary to the wonderful Maldon Promenade. Bring a blanket, bring a picnic, bring your friends and join them for a magical evening under the stars. Head along for an evening of cinema and wonderful pre-show entertainment. Live Entertainment We will be opening the night with music to get you in the mood from 7.00pm.

  • Essex Young Farmers Country Show at Boyton Hall, Chelmsford, 21st May

Come and say hello! Whilst you’re enjoying a day for all the family at this traditional agricultural show pop along to our Beresford stand and have a taste of the complimentary Wilkins & Sons products we have to offer. The show is full of fun with an equine area, game fair, livestock tent, fairground and food hall. Shop till you drop at a wide variety of trade stands, pop into the tea rooms for a slice of homemade cake, make friends with the hounds from the local hunt and enjoy a display at one of the four rings – there’s everything from lawn mower racing to tug of war.
