Remember someone special to you with a commemorative metal snowdrop. Each flower has been hand crafted by the British Ironwork Centre for St Helena Hospice and will be used to create a stunning visual display of memories at Beth Chatto Gardens.

Bring the whole family down to the Farm Park this February half term! So much is going on including the Lambing Nursery, come and meet the adorable new-born Lambs and their proud Mothers. You can also meet the Shepherd who can tell you everything you need to know about a Sheep’s pregnancy during one of their daily talks. If you are lucky, you might even see a Lamb being born.

“Sit by the fire and we'll tell you a tale...” Join a troupe of travelling gypsies as they gather round the campfire by the edge of a dark wood to tell stories. The sound of wolves howling from deep within the forest leads the characters to tell the story of one of their ancestors - a mysterious girl who wore a red hood.
Packed full of energy and fun, the talented cast of five perform a cavalcade of songs in different styles including country, blues and rock 'n' roll.

Get Hands on with History at Audley End

Fall into step and polish your shoes or it’ll be basic rations for you. St Helena Hospice - Frosty 5k

It's a 5k fun run - but you can walk, run, hop, dance etc round the course, which is 2 laps of a 2.5k route - so it's suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, meaning any age can take part!
The event will begin with a fun warm up before you line up and set off from a very snowy start line (don't worry, you won't get wet from this fake snow). The course then takes you through four winter themed zones:
- Fog – a tunnel with plumes of ‘icy’ fog coming from the floor
- Fire – a cosy fire tunnel with the sounds and smell of a real crackling fireplace!
- Snow – a corridor of inflatable waving snowmen to greet you on your way
- Ice – a huge inflatable igloo filled with magical lights

Heli Hounds Dog Walk & Show

Join in with your pooch on Sunday 1st March for a three-mile springtime dog walk, alongside hundreds of other four-legged friends. Setting off at 10am from the offices at Earls Colne Business Park they have designed a fabulous route that will take you into the beautiful grounds of Marks Hall in Coggeshall.
The popular Heli Hounds event gets bigger and better every year – as well as the dog walk, there will be a dog show including dancing dogs, Rally-O and a ‘how to’ session to show off every furry friend’s best assets, stalls to browse and much more; for a day of doggy related fun!
Register your dog for the event now at the special advance prices of £7.50 for the walk and £2.00 for each dog class. And be one of the first 250 dogs to receive a FREE doggy bandana!
St. Francis Hospice - Mission Mud 2.0

For the second year running they are hosting a 5km mud challenge at the Wild Forest in Kelvedon Hatch, well-known for its wet, muddy and incredibly fun events...and this one is all in aid of the Hospice.
If you love a physical challenge, as well as the idea of a course full of obstacles, undulating farmland, woodland, lakes and bogs, then this challenge was made for you!
Do not fear, no experience is necessary, just a sense of adventure and determination! After all, we're all in this together! Mission Mud is ideal for families, friends or work colleagues to register as teams, creating muddy memories and fun in the mud for all!
Price: £50 per adult / £40 per child (aged 13-17) / £40 per person (groups of 4 or more)
