  • Gardens Open at Beeleigh Abbey Gardens, Maldon, 24th & 1st July

The grounds of Beeleigh Abbey include 3 acres of peaceful gardens in a historic rural setting beautifully extended and revived in the last few years. New for 2016: pathways, topiary and a central water feature. Free parking.

  • Medieval Fete at Feeringbury Manor, Colchester, 25th June

A fete that will include something for everyone: Medieval Archery by Fellowship of the Dragon, Eden Falconry display, fun for children including making headdresses, swords and shields, fancy dress competition, basket making and spinning demonstrations, market stalls and much more. It’s also an opportunity to visit Feeringbury Manor Gardens, part of the National Gardens Scheme.

  • Kit Kat Cakes Workshop, Romford 25th June

Create stunning cakes using a range of confectionery items. This workshop will allow learners to make a cake using a variety of sweets, chocolate bars and other sweet treats. Perfect for parties and to give as gifts.

Learners will be required to supply their own resources, however some packaging materials will be provided.

  • The Fling Festival, Chelmsford, 2nd July

The Festival is like no-other, curated purely for adults. A bespoke day of live music, burlesque and cabaret, surreal theatre and immersive arts and crafts, plus the scrummiest food and more await those who visit the intimate tented venues, in the gorgeous landscaped Hylands Estate.
