Find events in Essex and Havering for the whole family to enjoy.  Here are our highlights of things to do in the area over the next couple of weeks.

Events 11th April – 30th April 

  • Essex Boot camp at Hylands House, Chelmsford, 9th April

Work off all the Easter chocolate at the Essex boot camp at Hylands House, Chelmsford! The vigorous exercise sessions are held at various parks in Chelmsford. These run continuously throughout the year, at Beaulieu Park (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), Hylands Park (Saturday) and Admirals Park (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).

  • Happy Circus at Engayne Primary School, Upminster 13th April

Happy Circus comes to Engayne Primary School. The school is proud to present Happy Circus - a professional (non-animal) circus, taking place on the school grounds on the evening of 13th April 2016. Doors Open at 5pm, with the show starting at 6pm.

  • Chilling Tales of Chelmsford at Chelmsford High Street, 14th April

This walking tour of the City describes the more unpleasant side of its history, featuring murders, ghosts, hangings, witchcraft and much more. An evening event not for the faint hearted! If you would like to know more about the dark side of the history of Chelmsford and find the answers to these questions, then join them on this walk.

  • Sensational 70s Night at Colchester United Football Club, 15th April

Back by popular demand, celebrate the best of the 70s at the Weston Homes Community Stadium! Dress up in your favourite 70s attire and hit the dance floor for a night dedicated to the best music from the 70s! Why not make a night of it and enjoy a 2 course meal too?

  • Ingatestone Musical and Operetta Group ‘The Mikado’ 28th-30th April

Nanki-Poo is in love with Yum-Yum. But there is just one snag. She's betrothed to Ko-Ko, the new Lord High Executioner, and Ko-Ko needs to find someone to execute – chop chop! Otherwise, it's his own neck on the block.

So, will Ko-Ko and Nanki-Poo come to some arrangement without anyone losing their head? ​
