There’s more to Maldon than just the mud…
Yesterday tens of thousands of people flocked to Maldon to watch one of the most unusual races in Great Britain – ‘the world famous Maldon Mud Race’.
Last year saw nearly 25,000 spectators watch competitors slip and slide across the river to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and judging by this year’s turnout, that figure could well be exceeded.
Amongst the competitors were a team of six from across Beresfords so congratulations to Helene Dendy from our Chelmsford branch, Maldon’s own Rob Twitchett and his colleague Nick Thompson, Nicki Treffers and Debbie Palmer from Head Office and Harriet Walford in Country Homes for taking the idea of a therapeutic mud pack to a different level!
