The Lords Taverners – is the UK’s leading youth cricket and disability sports charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged and disabled young people a sporting chance.
Beresfords Marketing and Business Development Director, Nicki Treffers said ‘We are really excited to be part of the picnic project. The idea behind it, was to create a really big community event that didn’t have to cost a lot for families, but provided entertainment and a fun day out whilst raising funds and profile of two really important charities and organisations. A picnic is open and accessible to everybody, it’s about inclusion one of the exact values we are trying to raise awareness of- so a picnic was the perfect way to promote this’
The day looks to be packed of fun filled activities including cricket for the children!
All Stars Cricket is an exciting opportunity from the England and Wales Cricket Board aimed at providing children aged 5-8 with a great first experience in cricket. The All Stars team will be on hand to keep the kids entertained by providing fun and active cricketing sessions all day.
