Essex: a county for fashionistas!

We’ve all heard of the ‘Waitrose effect’ and now the ‘Aldi effect’ on property prices, Essex is bracing itself for further interest from property buyers and investors as the county has just witnessed the launch of over 70 brands at a new Fenwick’s in Colchester, plus a John Lewis and 30 stores and seven restaurants plus a luxury ‘Everyman’ cinema at the new ‘Bond Street’ shopping development in Chelmsford. Plans have also just been announced to further develop Essex’s designer outlet village at Freeport Braintree.

The county’s love of labels has been well-noted but for fashion lovers these new developments have put Essex firmly on the fashion map, making it an even more desirable place to be.
