Nearly two-thirds of people said that Brexit was not affecting their moving plans according to a recent poll undertaken by Beresfords, an indicator of how resilient the Essex property market is.
That confidence is underscored by the fact that Beresfords had 23% more offers accepted in October compared to the previous month. We also saw a 10% increase in buyers looking for property with a noticeable number of them being first time buyer with that sector showing a 25% uplift. Within the rental market, the trend continued with 14% growth in prospective tenant registrations when compared with the previous year.
Whilst we’re in turbulent times politically, it seems that when it comes to property the British spirit of keeping calm and carrying on has once again come to the fore.
