Beresfords ‘Bag it. Beat it’ for the British Heart Foundation!
Beresfords are supporting the British Heart Foundations (BHF) ‘Bag It. Beat It’ campaign during September. The promotion actively looks to encourage the public to donate unwanted clothes so that they can be sold in the BHF’s shops to help fund thousands of research projects that are fighting heart disease.
To show their support, Beresfords employees are donating their own items whilst asking members of the general public to contribute their own unwanted items via their local Beresfords office.
Nicki Treffers, Group Marketing Manager, commented: “The British Heart Foundation rely heavily on the public to help with their stock levels so we are more than happy to donate our own items to help make a difference. If anyone is interested in making a donation, Beresfords will have special boxes in each of our branches up until the end of September.”
The cause is something that is very important to Managing Director Paul Beresford as his own son and Manager of the Chelmsford branch, Alex Beresford, underwent open heart surgery at the age of 26. Paul commented: ‘Having experienced first-hand the profound effects that heart complications can have, I am totally behind supporting and raising money for this great charity.”
If you wish to support the ‘Bag It.Beat It’ campaign by donating any unwanted items of clothing, drop into your local Beresfords branch between 1st and 30th September.
